Cats

It reminds me of a time when my wife put a plate of food on front of me. When I tasted it, I refused to eat it. She said "the cats and dog wouldn't eat it either! "
I replied "That should have given you a clue! "
That only happened once.

 

We had a tiny black Persian kitten that did the opposite of that. He went under the dresser, came up inside the back, and got into the bottom drawer. We searched the whole house for that little scamp, and wife was getting frantic. I looked under the bed and dresser, saw nothing, then had a hunch and opened the bottom drawer. There he was, happily snoozing away!

 

I had ear cleaning duty tonight and put ear mite drops in six cats ears. The first one I did was the worst, growling and hissing at me the whole time. After I finished that last cat and had done some other chores she was still growling. I reached over to pet her and she swatted at my hand. No contact, but close enough to let me know I wasn't to touch her. I then tried poking at her with the Q-Tip box, my phone, and a book. No response at all. Put my hand near her, TAP! No claws extended, but she is still not happy with me.

I wonder how long it'll take her to get over this?
