Sounds about right. I made a run to Sam's for kitty stuff this evening,
assembled an "outdoor play pen" and built a pedestal for it, and a roof
to keep the big cats out. This is the new wobbly kitten sanctuary. Seemed
ideal until Zippy found the one place where he has control of his limbs.
When he's climbing the mesh of the play pen. ;)

Nail clippers will keep him grounded.

This was my weekend to watch the kids. Three kittens with CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia). Known as "wobbly cats" they're completely normal except for their
lack of coordination that makes them fall over and flop around like a they've had too much to drink. Their togetherness seems to be their best therapy right now since they leap and fight and play constantly. We have a female cat that has adopted them and is helping them along. They don't lack strength and can jump like salmon going up stream to spawn, they just can't get their vertical and horizontal axis lined up correctly. The two tabby kittens seem to almost be able to walk, the black and white is less coordinated, but is the only one who will come when called. Just like an excited puppy. She will flip and roll and squirm and do whatever it takes to close the distance to you. I've never seen a cat behave like that. Usually they're totally indifferent.
