Buying gold, silver when to start?

about 4.00 over spot.
If you can find them in stock.

 

I have a little bit of ''stock'' lol

 

Some of the vintage stuff can sell for $5 to $10 over spot if it's nice.

 

I just bought 88 silver dollars with only 6 being 1921 date. The rest were in the late1800 range,all in very good shape.I paid $1600.00 for the 88. I was at the pawn shop when this guy came In and tried to pawn them for $1200.00 and could not get it. When he walked out I offered $1600.00 and he accepted,I guess I should have offered less but they were in such good shape I could not turn them down.

 

The value on 1921 silver dollars is meh, unless they are in Amaizing condition.

 

Apmex is all out of silver shot and prices on ebay right now are ridiculous, I can probably nearly double my money if the price doesn't go up.

 

Everything I put on ebay last night at highish dealer prices has at least 1 bid and I can list a lot of shit on ebay in 2 hours.
This is absolutely a sellers market.
I pity da fool buying silver now.

 

BitCoin is at 11k.
Granted it could be at 2k or 20k tomorrow.

Person to person, at the coin dealer or on ebay.
p2p probably 28-30
dealer might give ya 24 if they have plenty of stock, but if they are low on the shiny, ya might get 25-26.
on ebay .. 33 because you are going to get hit with probably 10-15 percent in fees.

That would be about what i'd sell them at if i had any to sell.
I'd also spend the proceeds quickly on preps and not stuffing it under the mattress.

Or you can do what I have done with the ones i've picked up in the past. Pay the kids and grandbabies in silver for jobs/tasks around the farm.

I just bought a 5 OZ buffalo last jan/feb ..
It's neat having all different types , Stage Coach from NWTM were also neat.
Having no debt and bank balance of comfort , to me is nuts having that FIAT that is eroding .
Years ago 1960's my dad showed me real money,, He saw the Germans starving when their R-Mark collapsed..
DO NOT BORROW to buy , and buy little amounts when you can , carton of smokes or a few Oz OF AG ??

I'm putting them all as auctions so people can get stupid.

Looks like apmex has a $299 minimum order on their Web site so I'll concentrate on the little guys.

Before I went to the deposit box today I ebay searched 1 kilo bars and the money just isn't there. If I sold my kilo bars on ebay, after fees I wouldn't make much money. Not compared to the killing newer shinny 1oz, 5oz and 10oz are generating.
Left the kilos at the bank.

 

I have like 50 of those and I'm going to start them at 25 and let people do the rest. I know I didn't give more than 17 or 18 for mine. I would expect them to go for nearly $30 plus $4 shipping.

 

Ag man. You can sell it, make colloidal or blow shit up with it if you have the right chemicals on hand.

 

If these guys are anywhere close to right, changing gold for paper at this point may turn out to be a huge mistake. Time will tell I guess.

That's the problem. For the last 6 years the gold bulls say literally every few weeks when there's a glimmer hope for a gold rally or when gold is up for 2 weeks straight that "gold is going to $2,000 this year".
If you are going to cash out of gold and sit on it yeah it's a bad idea. Cash out, get something else then sell that and back into gold when it dips low again.

Were the same age , been buy since the 60's , never sold.
Live the same , see your post and built a fuel bin area.. PLUS.
Now updating a lower room with commercial machines to process and freeze dry plus, lower so when older , less lifting . dumb waiter on the cold storage , all tooling for when im as useless as Joe or Hittelery !!!
