That answers my question...a Yugo w/grenade launcher no less. I'll stick to my Chinese and Russian SKS's (along with my AK-74). Sorry for your bad experience with SKS's and I'm happy you found yourself an AK you like (I never did find one in 7.62x39 that could hit the broad side of a barn).
Yes, I got lucky. My AK was brand spanking new, and only had some small surface scratches from being moved around and as being a show floor model for some time. I agree, as there is no debate over the quality of SKS's that the Chinese and Russian's are superior when it comes to accuracy. I bet, however, in about 5 years as the importing becomes more scarce, even the Yugo SKS will be catching a pretty penny.
