Looking at the blast map and nuke attack targeting potentials kind of reminds me of the old SNL character Rosanne Rosannadanna when she would end her commentary by saying, "Oh well, it just goes to show you it's always something. If it's not one thing; it's the other." Depending on how you look at the map and the prevailing upper air movements, the range of nuke strikes from light to heavy saturation, and the expected effects of fallout (not to mention EMP raising its ugly and even more unpredictable head), one starts to think with exasperation, "If it's not one thing; it's the other." We can only be ready for the worst (physical life ends; spiritual life continues); hope and pray for the best; and calculate /make ready for something probably somewhere in between; which makes this blast map thread an interesting exercise.
