The military is generally a cross section of society but generally better educated because of requirements. Also given that the average IQ is 100 and one cannot enter military with an IQ less that approximately 83 (won’t pass asvab) i’d say we aren’t doing that bad in the intellegence area either. THey were offering more moral waivers which I really disagreed with because those people were overwhelmigly more likely to get booted out on first term. I am not sure if they are still doing that for some things. Probably still are for recreational pot. I’ve seen people booted for that.
