    All this really means is that the Russian AF managed to:
    Find a crew sober enough to fly
    with enough fuel to fly someplace
    in an airplane that would make it off the ground.

    You can find pics of Alaska intercepts of Bears with everything from F102s to F22s.

    ie, no big.

    Also, please note the interceptor are armed.

    Both sides have been doing that since the 1950s. We have spy planes, ships and satellites...they do too! They fly bombers close to our borders (in international airspace) and we do the same! NOTE: Russian bomber crews love to fly down the east coast of the USA, because they land in Cuba and get to enjoy a tropical vacation! After conducting training flights over the Gulf of Mexico they fly back to Mother Russia...tanned and filled with happy memories of balmy temperatures, surf, sand, sun, rum drinks, and pretty Cuban women!

    Like I stated elsewhere, the US NAVY knew exactly where this sub was, and is, ever since it put to sea… It has been tracked by at least one US Hunter/Killer the whole time…. and I suspect it has a Standing Order to sink it, if they receive a specific Code Group via the UnderSea VLF Comms System… Just makes sense…

    Apparently Putin’s pipe dream, of going Nuke, didn’t fly well with the West, to the point he has had to shelve that rhetoric.. Now it is a “ Dirty Bomb” because then the source of the Radiologic Elements can be obscured.. With a nuke, the source is easily determined, not so easy with a Dirty Bomb…. Seems that this is his new Playbook…I wonder just how much Dirty Bomb makings Ukraine actually has, and if is all UN Inspected and accounted for? If I was running Ukraine, I would be calling up the Un to verify the Inventory, so as to shield themselves from a False Flag,, accusation down the road… “ See, all our stock of (Whatever Isotope is used) is accounted for, but can those Commie Bastards, say the same?”

    You guys know that the 101st has been deployed to Ukraine border to conduct "routine" deterrence patrols?
    It's a big scale move, joining many thousands already there. Also, it appears Vlad had another bit of justification early on with the invasion, holding intel about a dirty bomb, nuke style that the Ukrainians were going to use. We should all know by now how radical and stupid Ukraine's leadership is, not to mention, corrupt.
    There's just no good in any of this at this stage.

    Control all food - create shortages - riots.
    Control water through poisoning and shortages.
    Media control.
    Ramp up illegal immigration.
    Divide and radicalize the Citizenry.
    Force riots.

    Suddenly it looks more like an invasion from an outside enemy wouldn't even be necessary. But, if this country is ever invaded, the People may do the work for them. War with Russia/China/Iran and NK doesn't look so promising.

    (B-1B Bomber Task Force returns to Guam for multilateral training operations > Air Force > Article Display (af.mil))

    B-52 have been in the EU zone since Aug of this year. Not a bad TDY location.
