Appleseed Shoot This Weekend

    Bump. EARLY WARNING and invitation. The Hallstead-Great Bend Rod and Gun Club (northeastern PA) is hosting an Appleseed shoot in September. Go to the RWVA website in a week or two for details, and I'll try to repost them here.

    As I saw the results of attending an Appleseed session I have a lot of respect for Appleseed and what they accomplish.
    However, do not forget Army 11B school is 14 weeks; plus Basic. AIT is followed with unit specific training. In war time, unit specific training is OJT with a specific unit. :D
    From what I have been told the Marines combine both for a total of 21 weeks. Being trained in irregular small unit tactics are the domain of SF.
    Appleseed is an excellent appetizer; but, it is not the main course.

    As an old buddy of mine used to say, ya gotta wanna. Just spin up that Tri_pacer and fly on over. (You might want to bring the skidder to lift you up from all the prone to offhand changes -- Just sayin'---, you might need a bigger aircraft---)
