Anybody Detecting?

    My oldest coin is a 1981 penny. I can find an old steel beer can better than anything else.

    I did find an old chain that had been pulled almost into an iron bar one time. I had to wonder how they managed that. It was in the bole of a tree.

    Not much of value so far but I haven't tried the National Seashore yet for some reason.

    I've broken into the 40s with an old wheat penny ,, and a little junk jewelry. Probably the most valuable piece ,, was just 1 half side of an old brass padlock ,, whatever scrap brass prices are . A few quarters and change here and there ,, nothing to brag about ,,, just kind of a small thrill with the suspense of what you're about to pull out of the ground.

    KK ,, I'm looking forward to seeing your treasures,, how deep were them wells you were pulling that stuff from ?
