My gun shop was destroyed during hurricane Sandy and I don't want to support CTD. Are there any other sites like CTD worth supporting?
Brownells, Botach Tactical, tombstone tactical are 3 i use. and Im pleased with all 3 they have good service
Rguns.net, sotaarms.com, redxarms.com, shurluk.com Sometimes the smaller, mom and pop stores might have more inventory than the larger retailers. Their webpages may not be as easy to navigate, or look as pretty, but they will still take your money just the same.
There was a box full of extra magazines for my Glock under the Xmas tree this morning. According to Santa, the local momNpop shop he got them from was a madhouse. The guy in front of him bought over 2k worth of .223 bullets for reloading. There were no ARs left in the store, only one lonely Yugo SKS that had seen better days. The store has a pretty good stock of shotguns, bolt action rifles, revolvers, but the counter jockey said semi-autos are flying out the door. They had six guys on the counter and were still so slammed they just told the Mr to go behind the counter and get what he needed out of the box. Granted they get pretty nuts around Xmas but he said it was all he could do to get to the counter. Wall to wall people shoulder to shoulder and they weren't lookie loos either.
found local place had tons of mags for AK and Ar's made in bulgaria and never heard of them... got some and have to try them out. Best of all is i walk in give them a list and my order is processed right then and there.
Hit Five guns shops today, just looking at whether they had any of those evil baby killing AR assault rifles, and prices. I have to admit it was an eyeopening experience. 3 had no evil rifles left and were hoping to get some in from their backorders. 1 had 5 Saigas in .223 or 7.62X39mm for $900 each, and a used consignment AR for $1800. The 2nd had 1 cosmoline crusted new in box SKS with bayonet for $500, 4 used consignment AR's for $2700 down to $1400. When I got home I got on gunbroker and found out the gunstore prices were relatively reasonable. Last summer when I didn't have a pot to p..... in, I had to pass on 3 AR platform rifles, semi auto M-4 carbine clones (bare bones but functional) for $1600 for all three, (buy it now). Oh how I would like to have had the money and been smart enough to buy them then ....
our local shop is down to bare minimum stock and no 22,s but i use this site when i can't find what i want they even have mags The Armory
Local discount shop is cleaned out of ammo and components. A few items left but lots of empty shelves where .223, .308, pistol ammo, and powder used to be. Very few bullets left, too. They don't even have empty space for primers, looks like they do not expect resupply any time soon. Wow. This disappeared way faster than in 2008-2009. I was in there a week ago and it was very OVER STOCKED on these items. Boxes were stacked in the aisles. Now nothing but a few hunting things. Not even any .22LR ammo where they just had tons of 500 rd value packs. GONE! Good news is that about 20 AR15 mags I loaned out were returned to me, as well as a 1-3x scope and mount. Altogether about $550 worth of stuff. Still a few online places have powders but primers are more scarce. Bullets are down but still some options out there. Unless Reid or Boehner come out and unequivocally denounce more gun laws I believe this run on supplies will continue for many months. If civil society collapses from the economy woes any looters will be met with a wall of lead according to how much ammo is being stockpiled!!
I spend a lot of money at AIM Surplus, Palmetto State Armory, Botach. One way I keep up with deals is to have a Facebook account, which has no personal info or friends, and "likes" these companies. They post deals on their FB pages and you're able to get in on the deal before they sell-out. BUT!!!! FB just announced that it is taking down the pages of pro-gun sites. So, this method may not work much longer. My only hope now is that FB is the next "My Space." Sent from my Kindle Fire
snowing like all get out here but I have to go to the gun store and get their last brick of large pistol primers so wish me luck

They haven't touched the many Guns for Sale groups that I'm following and that'd be the easiest ever to find and shut off, just one search on "Guns" for groups and they'd all come up.
back and let me tell you the gun store was packed with at least 50 people there and the shelves were nearly empty
