    My heart sank when I saw the damage the bear did to the tree, she doesn't need to worry about pruning. I can see why she was roaring mad at that bear.

    Inny Sloth has now fenced around all younger trees. Homestead is also fenced , land is marker fenced , but any knee high critter just wails over it.

    As a Post Script for this thread... The temps have dropped to the lower 20s F at night, for the last couple of weeks, here.
    So Mr. Bear has gone to sleep, till next spring. (Usually around mid to late april) Alaskachick will be returning home next
    week, from our trip to the FlatLands, So she will not be chasing Mr. Bear around, in the foreseeable future. Very Lucky for him, I would say.
