Jeez, man, little matter what YOU could do, need mm's results. You've been screwing around with AKs for too long to evaluate his results!! Never mind I'm wasted, logic still applies --. (I'm guessing he just might have better eyesight, especially remembering those face plants you did in the pool. Cannot have done your peepers any good.)
Well so far Ive just run one mag (30 rounds) through it off the back pourch but like what Ive seen so far. As far as eye site mine's far from great, hopeing to get some glasses in the next couple of months and put a scope on the AK, figure until I do one or both my groups likely wouldnt be much if any better. But will most likely try a little in the next week or 2 along with the frined from town I gave the 12 guage to.
Not a build yet but it will be...and it will be the crown jewel of my AK collection. All others will pale in comparison. It is a Primo Polish UF kit from Bob Williams at Akron Armory Bob is my Hero!
Now that I think about it, that was a stupid question. I guess the under-folder would have a different receiver wouldn't it. Shows how much my brain was engaged at the time I've got a couple of MAK90's with the bunghole stocks still and am looking into changing the stocks on 'em. Aren't those side folders cumbersome and awkward to shoot folded, they look like it to me? :dunno:
I generaly shoot left handed and so was no problem, they go just ahead otf the trigger guard and below the action, the main thing thats kind of a PITA is working the saftey/selector lever with it folded. Obviously its also not going to be as accurate trying to shoot with it folded but can do a bit better than spray and pray. Check out my 'prelimenairy range report' thread on it, it shows one of the targets I shot at with it folded.
My Polish with Russian mag/Polish Laminate...it just fits better... Instead of messing up a perfectly good AK by half pimping it out...I went all out and messed it up right. Luckily in about 5 minutes she can be dolled up like a lady again.
