Nobody has tried to get you to change your mind. What they have done is offer advice on how to approach your stated goal and be successful. Leaving today, leaving next week, leaving next month or even next year, shouldn't actually matter unless you are in trouble with the law or a bookie or a dealer. What was something you were truly successful at? I'm not disparaging you but I'm not talking about shadow boxing or something like that, I'm talking about a truly successful completed task. Even going to the bar and picking up girls takes preparation. You wear the right clothes for the environment, you bathe, you do your hair, you either shave or clean up the facial hair, you stop at the bank or ATM or glass mason jar and take cash. You prepare, properly. Nobody had said "don't go". At most they've said don't go yet. You sincerely believe you are prepared and are so convinced of your own survival abilities that you will, not, listen, to anyone who doesn't agree with you or feed your...well your delusion. Son, and I call you that because I could in fact have a son your age and it's less offensive than "boy" and I really don't want to offend you, you are not prepared. You think you are but you are wrong. You need additional skills and knowledge that you have at least actually practiced before you head out into the wilderness. No matter what you think, you do not have what it takes to "rough it" long term. I don't mean attitude because you've got that to spare, I mean actual practical skills. Personally I think it's great that you have this desire. I think it's sad that you refuse to prepare properly for the excursion. Say what you want, you, are, wrong. Period. End of story. You do not, regardless of what you claim, have the life experience to contradict that statement. Everything else is just gas escaping your flapping gums. If you go out now, one of three things will happen: you will come back very quickly because you ran out of stuff and we're going to die, you will be found on the edge of death and either saved by someone who knows what they are doing our they put you out of your misery or, you die. The number of causes of death are many and varied and I won't get into them all because we don't have the time. If, and this is a big if, you come back out prior to running out of food, it is entirely possible that you will have convinced yourself that you were successful. You were not. You will have given up because you were not prepared. Be honest with yourself even if you can't be honest with anyone else. The goal is admirable, the timing is foolish to the point of stupidity. I am not saying you are stupid although you may very well choose to take it that way but I'm telling you that's not what I'm saying. Going now, unprepared as you are, and you are unprepared no matter how much "stuff" you take, is a stupid decision and a mistake. I believe people should learn from their mistakes but you have to be ALIVE to learn and there is a very good chance you won't be which frustrates all of us who would like to pass on knowledge, wisdom and skills. I'm sorry that you refuse assistance. I can't make you listen and I've probably wasted the last 15 minutes writing this (on my phone) but I couldn't just blow this off without saying it. I wish I could say good luck in good conscience but I can't. Luck or giving up are the only two reasons you won't be dead inside of a month and that's being generous by about 2 weeks. That makes me sad.
wow it must have taken you a long time to write that thank you so much i do realize how much people are trying to help me and ill stop posting things because i do understand i would just be wasting peoples time if i did die which is probable but there is nothing I'm good at except washing dishes and I'm done doing that. there is nothing for me here i have no wants or desires its like I'm living in a huge prison
It may not have occurred to you, but you've already wasted a lot of good folks time trying to point you in the right direction. I think that all we can do to help you has been done. If you think you have all you need, simply stop posting and hit the woods, and we'll stop helping.
i know i have already which is why i just said i would stop. i said I'm leaving in a few weeks proabaly a little bit more than 2 around 20 days I'm thinking
1. You just haven't found it yet. 2. That's called "youth". In addition to your thick skull, you've got a thick skin. That's an asset. (When used correctly.) Best Wishes.
