OK, I'm gonna hafta confess, the only pistol that is currently in my house is a GLOCK I love it. I shot a Kimber, S&W, and a few others before decideing the Glock just worked with me better. Now my wife on the other hand, she shoots a Springfield XD-9 better than a glock, so guess what's on her Christmas list I guess that makes 3 votes for Glock? Ryan
I have a colt 1911 that has a shit load of ammo shot through of all kinds never a failure, not one! over the last 12 years 450.00 new price when bought
Captain Boogie, fine with your Glock. But there's not a Glock built that will fit my hand properly and not feel top heavy or cumbersome to shoot. And if I don't feel comfortable shooting it...then how the heck am I going to protect myself? I'm more comfortable with a S&W .357 magnum from the 70's than I am with a Glock. At least I can handle that. Same with the Beretta 92F - it feels like a gun and it's balanced. The Glock is not balanced to my hand...and in the end that's what matters. Nor can I get my hand around it. The grip doesn't work for me. When they build a Glock for a woman (yes I've heard that a lot of women like them - this particular gal - as in me - does not)...then I'll consider one. Until then...well whatever floats your boat is fine. I'll take my 1911's (or my Beretta 92F).
Must admit, not a Glock fan either. They are nice guns, but like someone said earlier, they don't fit my hand well. The radical grip angle I also don't like, as everytime I drew one the muzzle would be pointing up in the air. I'll sitck with my Sigs all the way!!!
Not even close, it was so bad Karl booted me and melbo and i was the who posted it. I think melbo almost puked for laughing so hard.
