There was an incident in Ukraine recently where an American made Bradley fighting vehicle went head to head against a T90 heavy tank and the Bradley actually disabled the tank by the Bradley gunner by shooting the tank’s optical aiming devices. The gunner said in an interview that he had learned how by playing War Thunder.

 

I have no doubt that tactical online games such as World of Tanks and War Thunder among others, might be useful for simulating armoured small unit tank minor tactics at the troop / platoon to squadron / company level, among other useful skills such as battle field communications, preparing and delivering orders, the tactical appreciation process, etc.

 

We already have that. They're called mq9 pilots.
