Yep, the Egyptians and the Celts stole all that land from the native americans. But the Greeks, etc stole it from them so by the time it got around, those were the most successful thieves. good maps but there is an agenda there and they were not selected at random.
No doubt, I for one, as an adult, have learned to double or triple check, based on the source. Just the same, I found map #32 to be pretty cool in showIng how the change in demo graphs drives prosperity to a great extent.
