Well, that was disturbing as hell. And, with restricted mode on, yeah, 100% of pewdiepie's videos are gone.
I've always felt that Section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act was far too restrictive on public speech....but you'd be mistaken if you believe that Malcolm Trumble (as identified by Mr Sean Spicer) is ushering in a new era of 1st Amendment style free speech. That is simply not the case. All the legislation enables is the ability of individuals to freely express their racially bigoted bile in public without fear of prosecution, providing that such public expression of racial bigotry doesn't constitute an act or acts of racially based harassment. The legislative amendment has its opponents, and may not be passed by the Australian Senate, in which the Liberal/National Party Coalition (Conservatives) are reliant on cross-bench support to enable legislation to be ratified for enactment as law. Is Malcolm Trumble actually fighting for free speech, or is he just fighting to prop up his own party leadership? Fortunately for Admiral Trumble, this legislative tactical move will take some of the wind out of the sails of Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party. for which he is competing, in a race to the bottom. Don't take as face value everything that appears in a Youtube video clip.
