He said the silent part out loud. I'm hoping there are severe and immediate repercussions, but I won't hold my breath. Far more likely to set off a chain of unintended consequences that don't end well for any of us.

This is because of the DOJ. The bureaucrats think they can do as they please as they are protected by the DOJ who is making up the law as directed by the White House and ignoring the written law. You still think this crap is going to be resolved by voting?

Before everyone pees down their collective pants legs - the guy is legit to do this - why?

(Sutherland Springs church shooting - Wikipedia)
In 2021, a federal judge ruled that the federal government was negligent and awarded victims and families nearly a quarter-billion dollars. The 26-year-old Kelley should not have been allowed to purchase or possess firearms and ammunition because of a prior domestic violence conviction in a court-martial while in the United States Air Force; however, he was still able to buy the weapons because the Air Force did not report the conviction. In response, Congress passed new legislation that fixed holes in background check reporting procedures.

The fly in this ointment, it doesn't fall upon the V.A. to "Enforce" anything, as it was, the shooter wasn't even covered by the V.A. so they couldn't have done anything, and lastly, it was the Military who failed to report the shooter to NICS! So, no, he is not immune here, and congress needs to absolutely obliterate the V.A's stance!

As it is, they are all citing to "Brady" and not Sutherland Springs, not even sure how Brady fits into all this, but the V.A. has no right or authority here, and absolutely must follow what ever congress passes into law!

As a retired federal civil service employee, if you have an issue with most anything government related, you might as well make yourself act like a compass, with Congress being magnetic north. Meaning, you have NO idea how fucked up working for Uncle Sam is, with that collection of fools making up the rules as they go along. Blame the JoBama administration as much as you want. But know that it's the tip of the iceberg, and the hidden part of that chunk of ice is CONGRESS.

Why do you think immigration hasn't been fixed yet?:rolleyes:(n)
