    lets be serious fer a minute Pu-238 is not used in weapons plus it would not start a chain reaction as the vid suggests

    it is used in radioisotope heater units often fer satellites

    Supergrade Pu-239 is the gud stuff, jus sayn ;) ;)

    Th at is true SM, however heating it up likeshown in the video, and hammering it p roduces particles that get in the surrounding Air, and are inhaled and become an EXTREME POISON... TO HUMANS..

    yep if it were real :) ..

    inhaled alpha particles can do a lot of biological damage, low energy alpha particles can be blocked by the skin, however high energy alpha particles can go right through ya

    I once had the brilliant idea of welding some water quench hard facing rod on my hatchet .
    Finished, the file skates off the edge ,so a grinder is all that can work it.
    This for working a trench and clearing roots this is great the edge holds up just fine, especially the adds blade I added to the poll . Years later having lots of use, when dressing the edge I had remembered that only a grinder can work the edge , hand stones do not fare well .
    I have another brilliant idea of forging that welding rod into spring steel for a knife blade .I resisted the temptation wondering if the dissimilar metals might detach in heat treatment .
