Carried a M-11/P-228 for many years, if a 9 mm is your thing, not a bad way to go! The problem with SIG is too many models of basically the same damn thing, changed a screw and call it a different model, very Glock Like!
Add a short reset trigger along with lighter wolff springs. DA/SA way smoother. original Sig mags are expensive as hell now. Promags offer more capacity but some feeding probs. these are no longer cheap surplus that one could have gotten for 300 bucks back in the day. Some p6s don't like SD ammo with great big open mouthed HPs. So ammo finicky. It's also 2+ pounds loaded. So I guess it has additional mass to mitigate recoil. Anyway, it's not a 50 metre tack driver. it's a steel hammer that spits out freedom seeds when asked and if you have enough loaded mags you can shoot out the star on the midway.
