I created this thread to feature stories of survival and resilience in the face of adversity...much can be learned from the experiences of others who faced death, but who, by determination, using their creativity, intelligence, and knowledge, adapted, improvised, overcame and survived. We can learn from others' experiences to add to our own repertoire of survival knowledge and skills.
