I just bought, Primitive Wilderness Living & Survival Skills: Naked into the Wilderness. Seems pretty comprehensive. pictures look old and are hard to see what's going on, but there's a lot in the book. You can find it pretty cheap too.
I do believe you requested this... Documents matching "gardening for dummies" | Scribd I like scribd, i found the foxfire series, vols 1-6 on there.
A couple that come to mind that I have and enjoy: Hawke's Green Beret Survival Manual Wilderness Survival for Dummies
+1 for Hawke's book. It is a nice book (i.e., hardback, quality pages, small footprint) and is not written like a manual. Some of those military-type manuals are dry. It would be a good addition to any collection.
Yeah Ajax, even though the title is funny and folks kind of laugh about the dummy books I have found it amazingly informative. "Wilderness Survival For Dummies." In it you will find survival techniques to stay alive on land or at sea, basic navigation skills, how to find water and food, and a whole chapter on signaling and techniques to get rescued. I think you would like it!
