At $8 bucks a piece to a pallet recycler, they might steal your trailer and be pissed it is a camper.
That and a latch that can't lock you inside. IMO it's mostly about what can fit into the environment and not look like a camber or a dwelling. Locally many places give pallets away for free, so what is useful in one area might not work elsewhere.
