I told wifee we had some ripe guavas. We always called them yellow strawberry guavas, but I guess they are the lemon ones. When I pointed them out, she did what she usually does. She stood that and ate all the ripe ones. I spied more ripe ones, so I just ate some of them. They were sooooo sweet. These guavas look delicious! I don't see as many of them as the strawberry guavas so they are a real treat!
Nice. Last year our persimmon tree produce 5 fruit for the first time. Now these were not the persimmon I was used to. Those are small and ripen after the first frost. Our tree is a different variety and produced large, apple sized persimmon. We had a frost and I waited for them to "ripen" (change color). waited, waited, waited, decided screw it, I want to try them before the animals get them. When I brought them in and sliced up the first one I noticed that there were few seeds compared to the small persimmon that are mostly seeds. Took the first bite and it was SOOOOO good! Can't wait for the tree to produce this year. Now if our mulberry tree will start producing my wife will be in heaven!
