So called shipping problems may just be stupidity of shipper or so it is here.

Ordered a product, paid for rapid delivery.
Product was to be delivered today.
9 Pm and no package.

Reason!? All streets and addresses were converted, as required several years ago, to the 911 format now the rule/law of County Road Numbers.

Seems that FedEX vehicles have only Noun Names on their maps as first mapped 30 years ago! No wonder the driver could not find us. After all, all county road signs are by the 911/EMS numeral road number which are all that is allowed in the state.

Makes you wonder how that happened!!!!! After all I have my address on 3 sides of my rural mail box.

Makes me glad that EMS is using the proper format.

After all, GARMIN can find any County Road Number in Texas.

 

Parts arrived by 2pm. This gave me the time to install them while it was not yet hot.

Had a early morning call from the dispatcher to ensure they could find us.

They confirmed the problem is with their mapping system.

I guess they read the Monkey!

 

Well apparently they read the post of a certain very wise Monkey who knows whats going on with road naming/numbering.

Too bad their software people can't seem to get a clue.
They must be a bunch of Joe Biden supporting leftists.
