When you bread it with flower and yellow corn meal it's really good you have to fry it slow to fast and it gets tough I kept the skin will tan it tomorrow if it's not raining gave the meat to a friend that's doing a beast feast in October.

 

How bout some details! How many shots, how far away, what ammo, what slingshot, etc.

One shot to the head a second one to make sure with a marble 1/2 natural gum rubber straight cut on a g 10 mule at about 8 feet

 

Yummy on the BBQ with some nice sweet and spicy sauce! Or, slow cook in a stew, or crock pot and then presto, pulled snake sammich! ​

 

While the meat is tasty enough, there just isn't enough of it to make it worth the trouble, just a small loin strap and a bunch of ribs.

This proves the sling shot a formidable weapon on small game and vermin and can do the same job a shot gun can , in that area, and not spend the price of ammo nor the noise of a report .
Rattlers are not that difficult to get close to , I've taken birds @100' with a wrist rocket using stones , it's not that hard.
Sling shots should be considered a standard in survival packs IMO.
