Slingshot practice

Here is how I practice shooting a lot some times it with other small target but this is the jist if it.

 

Bishop,,,there is no doubt about it . You are the best shot with a slingshot that I have ever seen . Do you ever shoot with a wrist rocket type ? I've never seen you shoot with one . I prefer a wrist rocket style myself. So , I'm assuming you prefer that style slingshot , and I know if you have the bands , if you're out in the woods , you could almost always find a fork to build one . But is there another reason you prefer that style ?? Just curious .

 

I do shoot with wrist rockets the ones I have I put flat bands on not tubes.

The reason I like natural fork and board cuts are they are very pocketable and small.

 

When I tell people I have hundreds of slingshots I am not exaggerating.

Nice shooting @Bishop. If it wasn't mid-20's and snowing, I would probably be out practicing.

OK now this little monkey has to get himself a sling shot after reading this and looking at the pics. This tree is going to cost me money just from reading all the stuff you guys post. @Bishop: Nice collection of sling shots. @arleigh: that is a nice, small, easily packed sling shot. One that I am sure I would end up breaking my hand with. I think I need to go find a stick.....

Where do you get your bands Bishop. The last time I made a slingshot , I was using an old bicycle inner tube for bands .

 

WOW! So I just finished a quick search through Amazon for 'slingshot' and it came up with 111 pages. I browsed the first 10. Not only can you buy a plain slingshot, but you can get a laser sighted, flashlight attached, and fishing reel, all for use at the same time while you shoot arrows at fish.

@Bishop: I am giving my wife instructions on how to forward the bills from Amazon to you! I have convinced her that this thread is the cause of my new found pet project and that I am innocent of all charges (financial or legal) for any slingshot activity that I am accused of. I am already thinking of going to the local public range with a sling shot, just to see how many people will start laughing.
