Life can be difficult at times. I decided to try out that Ukraine lacing, so I grabbed a shoe and started taking out the shoe string, SURPRISE!! My shoe only had four holes in it for the laces. Now, I know this is going to sound strange, but I never noticed that before, probably because I never tie my shoelaces. Ever. When people say "Hey, your shoelaces are untied," I just say, "I know. It's a fashion statement." Which it is, in a way. At some point a few years ago I decided to simply stop doing some things I didn't like to do, and tying shoes was one of them. The damn things just wouldn't stay tied, so I stopped tying them. Anyway, like I said--only four holes for the shoe laces. So I tried the Ukraine lacing anyway. Well, flap me with a pan-fried pancake, bros--it works perfectly. I don't know who was the most surprised, me or my other personalities.
I went in a shoe store & picked up some new Reebok's and will re-lace them just for this .. Kicked off the old farmer boots from 12c this am to 79f this afternoon in Arlington , 300miles is a different weather
