Are You Good Ms @runswithdogs Sorry to hear , and like all monkeys here , know the heart ache . Sloth
Sorry to hear of his passing, this makes my heart hurt! Dogs are such a blessing to us, and their time here is so short! Love them all you can, for too soon will they be called home!
Ah that sucks. Sorry for your pain. I think it's worse than losing a human because our dogs love us without conditions. And I agree with you, 2020 is the worst.
Well dam that sucks. I know the pain..my puppy (that became my moms because she liked him) passed this year as well and I still vaguely think he will be there when I go over to visit (outside when I’m inside or inside when I’m out). I didn’t take nearly as good of a picture as that one. I’d recommend framing that picture it makes him look noble.
We had to say good by to our 20 year old Golden Retriever last march, it still stings to this day, I sure miss him still! He is there in heaven waiting for is, tail wagging, a ball in his mouth, and tongue hanging out the side, with that big goofy grin on his face! God bless them, every one!
RIP.... always hard to loose a big dawg...their life spans are so short.... !!!! We have two great danes getting up into 7 YO and we are not ready for that. Our last two danes passed within 6 months of each other...a tough year. I feel your pain, sorry for your loss!!
RIP, We dont choose who we love and we dont control when those we love leave. My heart both aches and beats with yours for your loss. The last time i lost a beloved dog, i cried everytime another dog farted for almost a year. I know its sounds stupid... he was a very gassy dog, but the humor with which my family treated the smells would bring back memories everytime another dog farted. Sancho the Smelly was a great dog. I know you will miss KKQ. Thank you for sharing.
That Scotchmen needs to hold you tight all night !!! I sent a evasiveness of mind ,, I have never sobbed as i have when I saw / helped my bros in there last time ! Sloth
I lost my little boy this past spring and I still chock up with any memory of him. Had to wait through three litters of pup's for the Lord to bring this Jake pup along to me..
I lost my jack russel named Toby, almost twenty yrs old,a little over a month ago. I have another jack russel named Buddy but it’s still hard. I miss Toby a lot.
BTDT, know the pain. It gave me so much comfort when DH died to imagine the greeting he got at the Rainbow Bridge.
Have a smile thinking of all the others he happily slobbers on while he waits for you to get there. Good friends live in our hearts forever.
Thanks everyone, Its so weird not running into the traveling brick wall every time I try to move... *sigh* we knew it was coming, he started showing signs of bone cancer in his front leg about 6 months ago . Nothing to do for it (his sister had the same so knew what it was as soon as it started) but make sure he was happy and comfortable but the last couple weeks it started spreading/growing quite fast. So we spent the last weekend doing all his favourite stuff (beach, forest walks, extra special treats, etc) before saying goodbye. He will be hanging out with my other 2 that are waiting for me... probably hiding in the grass pretending he's a lion like he loved to do...
