Rubber Band Bow...

An interesting archery concept.
...a rubber band bow.

 

Thats cool, but have any of you stored rubber bands for a couple months? Very quickly they get dry and crack and fail.

I wonder if there is another solution, eliminating the rubber bands for something more durable.

Maybe I am missing the point that this is a bow for survival, made and used for a few days to be discarded.

 

I wonder if surgical tubing would work or be better for this ?
