This a reprint of a letter from Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar describing the Physical appearance of Jesus. Copies are in the Congressional Library in Washington. TO TIBERIUS CAESAR: A young man appeared in Galilee preaching with humble unction, a new law in the Name of the God that had sent Him. At first I was apprehensive that His design was to stir up the people against the Romans, but my fears were soon dispelled. Jesus of Nazareth spoke rather as a friend of the Romans than of the Jews. One day I observed in the midst of a group of people a young man who was leaning against a tree, calmly addressing the multitude. I was told it was Jesus. This I could easily have suspected so great was the difference between Him and those who were listening to Him. His golden colored hair and beard gave to his appearance a celestial aspect. He appeared to be about 30 years of age. Never have I seen a sweeter or more serene countenance. What a contrast between Him and His bearers with their black beards and tawny complexions! Unwilling to interrupt Him by my presence, I continued my walk but signified to my secretary to join the group and listen. Later, my secretary reported that never had he seen in the works of all the philosophers anything that compared to the teachings of Jesus. He told me that Jesus was neither seditious nor rebellious, so we extended to Him our protection. He was at liberty to act, to speak, to assemble and to address the people. This unlimited freedom provoked the Jews-not the poor but the rich and powerful. Later, I wrote to Jesus requesting an interview with Him at the Praetorium. He came. When the Nazarene made His appearance I was having my morning walk and as I faced Him my feet seemed fastened with an iron hand to the marble pavement and I trembled in every limb as a guilty culprit, though He was calm. For some time I stood admiring this extraordinary man. There was nothing in Him that was repelling, nor in His character, yet I felt awed in His presence. I told Him that there was a magnetic simplicity about Him and His personality that elevated Him far above the philosophers and teachers of His day. All in all, He made a deep impression upon me and everyone because of His kindness, simplicity, humility and love. Now, Noble Sovereign, there are the facts concerning Jesus of Nazareth and I have taken the time to write you in detail concerning these matters. I say that such a man who could convert water to wine, change death into life, disease into health; calm the stormy seas, is not guilty of any criminal offense and as others have said, we must agree - truly this is the Son of God! Your Most obedient servant, PONTIUS PILATE A DESCRIPTION OF JESUS CHRIST The following description of Jesus Christ was written by Publius Lentrelus, (spelling may not be correct as writing was indistinct) a resident of Judea in the reign of Tiberius Caesar, to the monarch in Rome. It first appeared in the writings of Saint Anselm of Canterbury in the eleventh century: "There lives at this time in Judea a man of singular virtue whose name is Jesus Christ, whom the barbarians esteem as a prophet, but his followers love and adore him as the offspring of the immortal God He calls back the dead from the graves and heals all sorts of diseases with a word, or touch. He is a tall man, well-shaped, and of an amiable and reverend aspect; his hair of a color that can hardly be matched, falling into graceful curls, waving about and very agreeable crouching upon his shoulder, parted on the crown of the head, running as a stream to the front after the fashion of the nazarites. His forehead high, large and imposing; his cheeks without spot or wrinkle, beautiful with a lovely red; his nose and mouth formed with exquisite symmetry; his beard, and of a color suitable to his hair, reaching below his chin and parted in the middle like a fork; his eyes bright blue, clear and serene. Look innocent, dignified, manly and mature. In proportion of body and most perfect, and captivating; his arms and hands delectable to behold. He rebukes with majesty, councils with mildness, His whole address whether in word or deed, being eloquent and grave. No man has seen him laugh, yet his manners are exceedingly pleasant, but he has wept frequently in the presence of men. He is temperate, modest and wise. A man for his extraordinary beauty and perfection, surpassing the children of men in every sense.
Unfortunately this is a hoax. Or more a misconception. These "letters" come from a book published in 1928 and written by a London Guardian reporter, W.P. Grozier titled "Letters of Pontious Pilate". Which is written as letters from Pilate to a friend in Rome. It is reviewed by his newspaper and called his "first novel". It is a story told in letter format, much like C.S. Lewis's, The Screwtape letters. Pontius Pilate was a Roman Military governor. Rome was known to have very strict reporting requirements in thier military. There are many regular reports from this military governor to his superiors in Rome. In one letter, which is said to be housed in the Vatican library, he reports on military matters and the trial and execution of a rebel from Nazareth. In this military report he states that the man was not comely and very plain to the eye. Which corresponds with religious texts. He was never described as an "angelic beauty". The only really interesting thing about this letter is that he is said to have piercing blue eyes and fair skin. To anyone only steeped in the dogma of a middle eastern, dark skinned race of "Jews", this would seem to be ridiculous. However, the Israelites of the Bible were not the dark skinned, dark haired Middle Eastern race now portrayed. The Eastern European Khazarian "Jews", who now inhabit Judea are what people associate with ancient Israelites. They are "Jews" by conversion, not Israelites by ancestry. It's too in depth a study to get into here but the summation is that the ancient Israelites, of whom Christ was, were a light skinned, light eyed, fair skinned people. It is similar to modern Egyptians. People associate them with the Middle Eastern, nomadic tribes that migrated there. The original Egyptians were the descendants of Ham and were light skinned, fair eyes and hair. Today it is not uncommon to find a modern Egyptian with deep emerald green eyes. They have a lingering DNA from an original Egyptian ancestor. If you visit the Cairo Museum, which by the way I have done many times, and you go to the "Old Kingdom" displays you will see that all of the overseers, scribes, officials were carved from white Alabaster, while all the laborers and field workers were carved from dark Onyx. It is the same in India. Go to any of the myriad of temples there and you will see all of the "gods" are white while the people are carved from dark stone. Thier own myths tell of a light skinned people who came from the North and brought knowledge. These were the Aryans that Hitler plagerised. You will find this same mythos around the globe. A tall, fair skinned, light eyed, bearded people who brought the knowledge of agriculture, animal husbandry, astronomy, medicine, masonry, a myriad of advanced skills and knowledge. The evidence is undenailble that there was a fair skinned race that covered the region from India to the Medditeranean, remnants of this race that traveled the globe in antiquity. And a race that the acient Israelites were a part of. So what happened to them? First came the Assyrians who conquered the Northern 10 tribes then later after the Romans destroyed Rome in 70 AD, none were left in the area. They had all moved elsewhere. By choice or by force. Where to? I'll leave that to you to research if you're so inclined. But I would start with the mystery of the origin of the Saxon people in Europe, the name Caucasion, the pathfinder tribe of Dan. Also if one was so inclined I would recommend studying the Khazar empire, the Parthians, the lost tribe of Simeonites. There is so much documented history that most have no idea about. The rest of the story is usually the best part. MM
Indeed, this is the single most important factor, and one all too often overlooked and even ignored entirely. Every iteration of humanity has its teachers, though it wasn't long before time had run its course and we were left with the remnants of what was. I knew it wasn't the real story, but you did the homework. Thanks.
