A nice set of plans for making a reloading bench. http://www.shotgunsportsmagazine.com/downloads/bench_plans.pdf
I have said it before..."I do not reload. I don't have the gear to do so. (Yet) and the wife would lose her mind if I had "EXPLOSIVES" in the house...." But I like building things....sue me.
Those guys are great to know and talk to. My reloading is limited to shotshells, but there's always something to learn. Membership is free ---
FYI: Common Smokeless Powder is NOT considered "Explosive" when in its natural state. (unconfined) It is in the same Class as Dry Ice & Water..., When confined and burning, it will build up Pressure, and when the Pressure exceeds the Bursting Pressure of the Confining Container, it will release the Stored Energy dramatically, but this is NOT termed Explosive, or in the same class, as detonations, or deflagrations, by definition. DOT Shipping classes Modern Smokeless Powders as "HazMat ORD-D".... which Class is used for many Aerosol Sprays, including Paint. Now, Real Black Powder is a Class A Explosive...... However the modern Substitutes, are NOT Classed as Explosives, at all...... ......
