Mornin' I have been asked how many amps my refer uses during operations ever day. First of all , it is a Hotpoint, double door, that is freezer top , refer bottom. Here we go:

Start-up amps: 2.78 Which only lasts about two seconds
    After 5 min. 1.7
    20 min. 1.36
    1 hr - 20 min 1.26
    10 hrs 1.20

So these numbers all came from my "Kill-A-Watt"

In about 15 minutes or so, I will give you the accumulated numbers.

Hank, you may want to revise or check your refer once more. If it is using that much power, you should use it for a target !
