We haven't had a train in 7 to 10 years , But still need to stop at all crossings & the COPS wait to make their quota of BS.

 

I have a private crossing at the BOL no bells or gates or whistles, One has to be on your toes since at least once a day a train will pass and NOT sound the horn!

 

The only thing that makes sense is its testing some new electo and or mechanical setup for RR crossings.
Better test it before you put them on live traffic crossings.
