This is the season that seems filled with music. I present for your consideration - music from Russia Otava Yo (Russian: Отава Ё, ота́ва meaning "aftergrass"[1]) is a Russian folk rock band from Saint Petersburg, formed in 2003. A modern folk-rock band with a real vibe worth a listen. I hope you enjoy- some of these videos offer marquee style translations if you find the music of interest. The group has toured the world and met with great acceptance. I think you'll find the music 'addictive' after listening to a few of these songs...
Then there is this - Atomik Harmonik is a turbo-folk music group from Kamnik, Slovenia. Turbo-folk music? Another fun watch. Turbo polka - in English Seems that polka has run head-on into Techo.beat

Ganado. That is pretty cool. I have heard bits and pieces of that but it really covers a lot of ground. That said, I think my mind has burned out on Classical (left brain 10 years of piano lessons) and Rock (right brain 70's). I turn on tune in drop out when listening to either.
it was a good article that basically said... music is good for your brain, listen to what you like is good for all parts of the brain
