Does anyone have a suggestion for a local coin shop in the Seattle / Bellview area that is reputable and not going to rip you off when buying or selling? Asking for a friend.
Coin dealers always buy at spot, never higher unless the coin has collectable value, IOW, unless it is a rare date in uncirculated condition and certified. They will sell at whatever the market will bear and always 20% above spot or higher. Maybe trade your coinage for ammunition, optics or powder.
Kind of looking for a local coin store in the area for bullion. No numismatic stuff. Constitutional and bullion products only and again, Mainly looking to purchase at the moment. The selling part comes later, hopefully much later.
dollar cost averaging at this price. Current prices are actually less than some items in the stack. It just means buying fewer ounces on a schedule. That's also why I was asking about reasonable LCS's in the Seattle Area.
Remember the coin and metal dealers are businessmen...they are in business to make a profit! They are not going to buy for full value, nor sell at cost. If you live in a rural area or small town/city the dealer is often a middleman and the prices that they offer are even worse, especially when you are selling.
I don't want to come across as <U-Know> when I was in NWTM putting in a order for some , I noticed many Asian clients That told me something , if you have ever been in Hongcouver Metrotown Sloth
Well, I am <U-Know>, but that doesn't negate the fact that throughout history many peoples have understood the value of having physical gold and/or silver. It was hard to come by and often passed from generation to generation, but it could mean the difference in survival and death. Two peoples that understood this were Asians, and Jews. Gold or silver could mean that your family survived a famine, received medical care, or bribed a border guard.
Folks, I'm just looking for a coin store near Seattle that is honest. Besides NWTM, are there any decent coin stores near here?
