Evidence of monkey mermaids. Note the prehensile toe tail. My family with kite surfers in the background. We invited a bunch of home schooling families to join us. I think about six families came, so we had over a dozen kids. My monkeys. Saw a guy treasure hunting. The kids saw quite a few jellyfish, but no one got stung. A sea turtle swam by to eat said jellyfish. I didn't get a picture. Was thankful there were no sharks trying to eat the turtle. I did get a fugu picture. A decent sized, but dead pufferfish was going in and out in the surf zone. So we scooped it up and removed it. A very fun day. Have a great weekend everyone!
Sea Monkeys!!!!!!! Remember those ads ???... LOL... Thanks for sharing... looks like a lot of fun... PS... no pics of food???
We only packed sandwiches and chips. Nothing to write home about. We had both PBJ as well as pastrami on pretzel rolls.
What's neat about that beach is that there is not one obvious tourist in sight. Ya gotta know where to go ---
There were tourists there. They are almost everywhere. Tourism and military are our biggest industries.
OK, I'll buy that. But it isn't CROWDED like downtown Honolulu or the associated beaches that I saw when there. Me luvs me uncrowded, me duz. (Waiting in line for the Arizona Memorial was memorable --)
I hate crowds. We went early. Got much more crowded as the day wore on. It's great how kids make friends and play with each other. Another beautiful beach day! Diamond Head in the distance. Teamwork
