Better bring along a crowbar to get the darts out of the barn door.

This was such a hoot!

Party time: I can see a keg of beer, some barbecue, and a manly game of darts at 15, 20, and 25 yards!

(whispered) ....while the ladies get the dishes...

I must admit, I am sorely tempted to try this...but I am not so sure it truly safe. LOL! It seems to me there is a possibility of the dart not clearing the forks and you could put a hell'va hurt on yourself. I think I would make those forks extra long to be on the safe side. LOL!!!

 

I did notice he shot them with the tail side down . I wondered if this was to knock the tail up straight ? I was wondering why he didn't shoot them with the tip down , to give a better chance of clearing the throat of the slingshot .

 

He has way too much fun for that to be legal.

Nice setup . I like that . I've actually been on that Slingshot forum lurking around , and I thought that was you on there , I recognized your sons artwork on your avatar . Your accuracy is very impressive , imo .

 

You mostly seen me there I go by ghost 0311/8541 or the sling shot community I go by just ghost lots of info on both slingshot community is more layed back

For larger game, the arrows can obviously be longer, allowing deeper penetration. Like a crossbow: 18" bolts would work and still be more convenient to pack than 32" arrows.

For easy discussion, I'd be inclined to call these Mickey darts.

The Mickey nut is such a perfect launcher...
