My 9yo daughter was having a little bit of issue with her rifle, because the irons weren’t zeroed. Of course, the irons weren’t zeroed, because there hadn’t been iron sights on that rifle in the three years she’s had it. I looked at the coach, and said, “It’s fucking 2024, who the Hell has iron sights!?” One of the other parents, a local deputy, looked up, and responded with “They’re the best way to learn!” To which, of course, I responded, “Bullshit, they are!
