Yep, it's time. My friends here have bought alot of knives from me, but this is open to everyone. This is a small skinner that I made a while back, and when I went to peen the lanyard tubing it cracked the handle material. This knife will be just as strong as any other since the handle material is silver/black Dymondwood, but I cannot sell it so someone might as well get a free knife. I'll post pics later. I'm not sure how to go about this - we have 135 members and I'm tempted to just pick a number but I'd rather pick an active member rather than someone who registered and never posts. Tell you what - pick a number between 1 and 100 and I'll pick a number in a few days. If you pick a number you're active enough for me! Winner will be closest without going over. Have fun, and oh yea TLynn will get 13.
That's super cool Valkman! I'll take 73, (Wife picked it so it'll be hers if I win) We get some folks here that come in every few days so leave it up for at least 3, maybe 5... You have a pic?
I'll try and get pics up later! Picky! It's free! We can leave it up a while, I'd like to get some regular members in on this.
I looked at that knife and it isn't even good enough to give away, so here's another one. This is a small utility with a 2 1/2" blade of O1 tool steel, G10 handle and mosaic pins. It also has a custom lanyard made by our own Cousin Jack and is adjustable to fit your wrist. I'll spruce it up and make some Kydex for it for the weiner. I mean winner.
Mighty nice Don! (I love mine in orange-orange!) I usually go with my ID number but that's 104... So I'll subtract my age and pick 59!
This is a one-of-a-kind, one that I made but didn't make it into a model. It had the same problem your second small skinner did - I went too thin at the back of the blade and now it flops back and forth when you sharpen it. Ugh.
