He is about 2 hours from me, but that is as close as I know. I have thought about riding up there to see if I could hunt him down. I mean, how many long haired old guys with new knees that collects lanterns can there be?
He also worked in a mechanics shop ,, when he wasn't recovering from them knee and hip surgeries. I think he was between Camp Lejuene and Wilmington. I hope he's well wherever he is .
I'm not sure he ever told the name of the range. But there was one I remember going to back in the 80s to sight in our rifles before deployment,, but I don't remember any names ,, or where it was at,, I don't even remember if it was Base range or a public range .
Which one of you wants his personal details to check on this? I can only give it out to one of you. Jacksonville, NC area.
I need to get down that way soon,, it may be after Christmas before I can get there . If Tempstar has the time to get there ,, I would say let him go ,, but if he can't,, I will definitely take the task when I head that way . Let me know what you decide Mr Broker .

I'd check neighbors and the local post office for information if there's nobody home. Sometimes people just drop off forums, I've been there myself in the past.
