It’s a family trip but I’m going anyway. Wish me luck, lots of mountaintops to miss on the flight up.

I hope you'll have a wonderful time! We have been talking about visiting Alaska. I've never been, but my Chem lab partner in college was from Ketchikan and most of the rich kids were from Alaska. Travel safely! Hope you'll have fun.

 

Watch out for those wily polar bears!

Years ago, I was sent there to convert a couple of banks over to a new computer system
The only place in town that served food and was truly No Smoking was the local Subway shop, it was run by a retired Coastie.
I ate 3 meals a day there for the better part of 3 weeks.
Happily, the store had enough variety and good food //and coffee// I never tired of eating in.

I have zero desire to return.

 

This must mean more stories to tell!

 

I have more content, this one cost me around $300 before I even left Seattle! At least I made it. Try finding coffee here before 5AM, try finding anything! Lol.

Not much else to do in the city except 'touristy things' and drinking.
