We are looking into different ways of keeping or storing food without electricity. I know you can keep eggs in waterglass or lime for up to a year without going bad. But everything is not going into this crazy head of mine on how it works. I know people in Germany during the war kelp their eggs in a crock filled with waterglass because of no elec. Anybody know how it’s done and what to use? Help!
Very good "How To" video AND even better, a followup with 12 month old eggs. I have to say I did not expect results this good after this long.
eggs preserve differently between using waterglass and a lime slurry .... the egg usage is more normal and complete using the lime - waterglassed eggs are a tough use in baking purposes .... You searched for egg | Prepper Website >>> everything about eggs & prepping
