Hip quiver

Just got done cutting out glueing and sewing up a hip quiver for the next up coming hunting season will hold 12 arrows with field points or 6 with broad heads still need to dye it and paint but done good enough to use

 

That'll do the job.

 

hmmm... used to be really into it years ago... got kinda out of it since... maybe I need to get back into archery...

 

I use an arrow bag that holds closer to 30.

 

I have a back quiver o made that will hold about 28 to 30 but I only take about 6 to 8 when I go hunting.

 

I always liked to go fully armed. Haha.

 

not too far off the subject I hope... but has anyone tried out those bows made with/from PVC?

I have one from Odinson Archery. It's everything that I asked him for...I'm thorwing arrows flat for 35 odd yards on a 55# recurve.

With a heat gun and a few boards you can make one up in about a hour

 

I believe they need to be painted to avoid sun damage?

 

Nice hip quiver, Bishop. Drawing arrows from a hip quiver would be quicker than a back quiver I would suppose. Each would have their relative advantages / disadvantages I would imagine.
