This picture was actually an accident. We met while going opposite directions. Welcome to my social life! we have 6 miles to maintain, bottom 2 sometimes gets a county plow.
Looks like my A.O.! Had to plow out the top 3-1/2 miles out to the main county road in order to get out!
I'm currently holed up just north of Salt Lake City, long day! Worse tomorrow, SNOW all the way to just east of Portland!
We're in E Wa and its gonna be another long morning. I can guess by the whistling in the trees, the O' chainsaw gonna get a work out today as well. Still to early to get moving.
Cabin is a compfy 74F, with an outside temp of 26F right now... 1" of NEW Snow, on top of an !.5 Inch Base from two days ago... Not deep enough to plow with the Grader, yet, and no more Snow in the 7 Day forecast, either... Just means we gots to haul a load of firewood in from the WoodShed....
Just tanked up at the Or. Idaho line, gonna push for home today, about 14 hours from now! The passes are snowed good, but plowed and sanded. Got my chains ready if needed, but a few truckers I talked to said they didnt need to throw iron, so fingers crossed!
Looks like Boxcar Canyon is where the fun is, as always! Good place to stop and check ahead! Seeing lots of trucks roll through with the tell tail "splash" down the sides of the trailers!
