Took the plunge due to current conditions in my AO. Varmints abound, cattle rustling and just down right murder of live stock is now common. Tested this scope on recent nights of overcast sky and various cloud groups skidding across the horizon along with the Red Moon. At 50 yards, with the dot all the way down and the scope on 2x, I could count coup on Racoon or cattle. Nice thing about this is no Laser so nothing knows you are there and thus not discoverable until you pull the trigger. Varmints of the night are ultra skittish if you lase their eyes, not like a white light where they freeze for a moment. During the recent Sales the price was cut by 40%. Wow! Good rating also (4.9). Just so we're clear, this places a red dot on the object that one can only see with the scope, correct? Not a bad price point either, ~$500. Have you used it in daylight yet and, if so, how did it perform?
Used in daylight too. Since the dot is inside the scope and is adjustable then it is good day or night.
