so here ya are growing/raising your own... as you can... being a non burden to all and self sufficient... or so you thought? and the government has made many new laws... so what they're going to do is legal... (like in Germany in the 1930's?) and the government has caused so much inflation that few if any can actually afford to buy food anymore... so the government has started giving out food... daily... all the time saying it's not about control? and for those that don't show up to collect... they come looking... after all everyone needs food... and the government cares about it's people... so someone is sent to insure you are alright...??? oh... and you can't collect without you official government ID... (implanted?) and then the government makes it illegal food hording to grow/raise your own??? after all... you are not sharing with your less fortunate neighbors... and they set up food police... that get a share of whatever they confiscate... and you are now outside the recently made new law... so they don't care about the rights you're telling them you have... and if you band together with others to protect you food... they send in troops... lots of troops... from the so many they now have surrounding and protecting them... cause there is now a new law... makes it insurrection to resist the government! and you're being racist... and trying to exercise your white privilege... and rumor has it believe there is a God... so you may also be a right wing religious fanatic... and you have children that they claim you are indoctrinating and... probably molesting/abusing.... OR at least that is what the MSM is now broadcasting... so many will look the other way or watch with great interest as the assault and reason for it are on the nightly news... and will remember what they saw... the example... hmmm... 2nd season and on of Babylon 5 comes to mind... anyways... opinions???
In light of what has been going on lately nothing would surprise me we no longer have freedom nor liberty in the USA. The great experiment of our forefathers in self-governing has been stolen, sold to the highest bidder.
State motto is "Live Free or Die", but not if you have a greenhouse and garden, still a few loopholes for Farmers' market, but laws make it nearly impossible to grow and sell food commercially. Simple things, 9 head of livestock, ok, 10 or more and have to meet same regs as having 100, sell to stores, water has to be tested and limited for irrigation, and on it goes. Bug problems with trees, can't haul firewood over limited distances, required time between putting on animal fertilizers and food crop sales, it isn't in the future, its here now. Town keeps track of all animals for proper care and safety reasons, but if it needs them they know where they are and how many are available to be shared.
Well, if anything would force a people to revolt it is not having enough to eat so...so I would believe that unless it is impossible to feed the masses that they will ensure food trucks keep rolling and farms keep producing...but that is simply common sense and these Socialist-Fascists don't seem to have any.
Just remember the old Soviet Union which collectivized the farms put in 5 year production plans which were never met. There were routine food shortages you got your 1/2 pound of mystery meat a week and liked it while the party elite lived well. When people have a guaranteed wage and no prospect of advancing or bettering ones life there is no incentive to work. This as been the case in every socialist/communist country.
You guys know this is nothing new, right ? The Brits took the food literally out of the mouths of Irish tenant farmers to sell abroad and starved a million or so Irish to death. This was the reason for another million to immigrate to the US in the late 1840's.
Unfortunately there is no place we can emigrate to. Maybe if Texas secedes we can go there and kick the California liberals out.

The old Soviets under Stalin did the same to the Ukraine, "The Great Famine of 1932–1933 in Ukraine (Holodomor), took from 7 million to 10 million innocent lives..." It was the reason so many Ukrainian hated the Russians but like many areas of the old Soviet Union, the Russians settled there and were loyal to mother Russia and you see that even now in the Ukraine, especially in Eastern Ukraine so it kept the possibly of revolt down...until the Russians wanted to do so. Now, here is an interesting question...if Uncle Joe, that's our Uncle Joe, not Joe Stalin (yes, they use to call Stalin this also, history repeats?) has to chose where to ship food to...? Who eats and who starves?

The Irish Catholics existed almost entirely upon potatoes...12-15 POUNDS PER PERSON PER DAY! The British were exporting beef, mutton, wheat, and butter to England....foodstuffs that the typical Irish peasant had never eaten and could not afford to eat. The potato was the only crop capable of feeding the Irish population...a couple of acres would feed a large family and without the potato millions had to die or immigrate. There was no Plan B!
I've studied history (hasn't everyone?) and I can't recall ANY peoples that were starved out of existence. The Irish Diaspora had been underway for 150 years before the Irish Potato Famine occurred. The result was a million Irish refugees scattered across the globe....Hell, it seems like every family everywhere has an Irishman, or two, in the woodpile! Give the British credit for being a little smarter than that! There are now 4 million Irish in a free Ireland, and tens of millions (maybe hundreds of millions) all across the world...does that sound like a plan?
