They already showed their hand. They want every pistol with a brace to be an SBR.

 

The REAL issue here isn't so much the AFT it's self, it's those who administrate it, and in this case, it's Merrick Garland and Steve Deddlebach, both now standing in the unemployment line, so this was all Pedo Joes IED for the incoming Trump admin. to have to navigate!

Ether Trump and his team get congress to end the ATF, Or, More then likely, Trump picks a new chief to run the agency, Sheriff Mark Lamb is the #1 choice for that roll, and we win ether way, though having this illegal agency still functioning will remain, at least it's a net positive in the grand scheme of things! The main hurdles are going to be 1) Pam Bondi who is Trumps pick for A.G. and after Trump deals with all the Pedo's road side bombs put in place to fuck Trump for as long and hard as possible, we still ether need to convince Trump to defund the ATF, or have congress act to strip it down to nothing, THAT will take time, and for now,, I would rather have someone like Sheriff Lamb running that shitshow, then the current state of affairs!

 

Yeah, I think that came across quite clear in the video that their new spin of "...the definition of a rifle...firearms with a rifled bore that are designed or redesigned, made or remade, and intended to be fired from the shoulder." Basically, this will be their new defense. I truly believe they realize their mistake of long ago approving the pistol brace and now are trying to reverse themselves. So, from now onwards everything will be a SBR if barrel is under 16 inches, brace or no brace, that's how they will play it. We're going to have to go back to court to get them to stop their word games. I would love to see them chop the ATF if for no other reason then as an example to other government agencies.

 

Well,if we're being honest everyone uses them as an SBR. I personally never saw the problem with an SBR or a suppressor. Full auto I understand. WMDs I understand. SBR, suppressors, high capacity magazines and even trigger devices are just semantics. SBR, who cares how long the barrel is? Just hurts the long range accuracy. Suppressor? Should be a requirement not an NFA item. Trigger device? The ones that work usually require you to stand on your head while you scratch your ass to operate them, again negating any real chance of hitting your target except by luck. I totally agree it is time to purge the ATF and remove the illegal laws put in place by them, and replace it with common sense and clear cut laws enacted by Congress that are devoid of any ambiguity.
