Yes, both were huge wins, thank God! There are two more cases that are up in the air and will set the stage for deportation... Unfortunately, the Appeals court split, 2-1, ruled against continuing deportation of gang members to prison in El Salvador and US District Judge James Boasberg’s orders blocking will remain in effect until case is heard by Supreme Court...which can't be soon enough for me. (Note: coincidence or is 'the game is rigged' as Judge Boasberg is also hearing the lawsuit concerning the Signal leak) The other uncertainty is the case of radical student and Green Card holder, Mahmoud Khalil...as of 28 March, he is still being held in custody, declined bail, and the case is being reviewed by U.S. District Judge Michael Farbiarz (Newark, New Jersey) who stated he will issue a written decision soon concerning the jurisdictional issue which will determine if the case is litigated in Louisiana where he is being held (the DOJ wants) or New Jersey.
