I finally got the stencils I was waiting for and could finish the knife. It's the first one made and finished from ATS-34 stainless and heat treated by Paul Bos, and I wanted a stencil showing it was heat treated by Bos as he is the best there is. 1/8" ATS-34 3" Blade, 8 1/2" overall Green Micarta handles Stainless pins and lanyard tubing Hope you like it!
Wooooo Hooooooo!!!!!!!! Thank you Valkman! It's beautiful! I can't wait until about , uh...Wednesday!
Isn't it though?????? I can't wait to get my hands on it..... Time to go across the street and go fishin again.....I hear a lot of people are catching whiting off the beach right now......I love them! and I love standing on the beach, fishin......
Yea I started using usps.com to print the postage since it was such a zoo at the PO during the holidays. Now I just print it and drop it at the PO - much easier, and they have email notification! I must say, that's one of the few knives I've been sorry to let go of. It is #1 of the stainless knives!
Oh yea, and in the letter with it I documented it as #1 of that model and the first stainless knife I completed. Someday when you're old and broke it might get you a can of cat food or something.
Sweet! Talk about a mirror finish. I believe I could shave with that knife, or use it as a mirror to shave by.
Valkman, you've really come a long way in a short period of time. Really good looking fit and finish on that knife.
Don? It is beautiful.... This , and the dagger I got from Cousin Jack?? Well..they are just my pride and joy.. I can't wait until Sunday to get a chance to use it!!!!! Thank you!
